************ Happy Holidays ************
The holidays are fast approaching & as I'm sure most of you know, I have decided to stop teaching in all of my schools. This extra time will allow me to concentrate on the assembly work (the mini mix) that I do in several primary schools in and around Yeovil. My home teaching remains the same and continues to be very busy.
I hope you all have a happy holiday & I look forward to seeing you in September. |

Due to Somerset & Dorset being on different holidays this year I have decided that the easiest thing to do is take one week of each holiday. Therefore I will finish teaching on Friday 28th March & resume teaching on Monday 14th April. I will however be attending my Dorset schools on the week starting 7th April. Hope that all makes sense & that everybody had a good Easter.
Enjoy your holiday!!! |

FEELING BETTER - FINALLY
Sorry to all for having to cancel all lessons for the past 2 weeks. I started with the flu & a throat infection. This ended up turning into a chest infection that left me extremely short of breath. I've been to hospital for chest x-rays & am now on some strong antibiotics to fix the problems. These have now started to take effect & I'm feeling much better. I hope to start teaching again on Monday (17th March) & will just see how i get on.
I will of course make up all missed lessons at school to ensure that everybody receives the number of lessons that they have paid for.
I look forward to seeing you all over the coming week.
Every Blessing,
Daniel. |

Happy Holiday's
I hope everyone is enjoying the Summer & that you've not been to badly affected by the weather.
Teaching will recommence the week beginning Monday 10th September for both School & Home pupils.
I look forward to seeing you then. |
| |
Only 4 weeks to go until the summer holiday. I have to say that I'm looking forward to it. This year has proved to be quite difficult as it seems that if there's a sickness bug to catch then I've had them all. Never mind, I hope that next term will be more healthy!
I keep very accurate records of lessons given & so in the unlikely event that you haven't recieved the correct number of lessons this term I will carry them on into next term. |
| |
| I hope everybody had a good Easter holiday having done lots of guitar or keyboard practice. Parents / Guardians please try and encourage your child to do 5 minutes practice each day, as little and often is far better than emergency practice once a week. |
| |
The Easter holidays are fast approching and I'm sure we're all looking forward to 2 weeks holiday. Please try and remember to do some practice over the holiday. Perhaps you could get together with some of your friends who play guitar or another instrument and have a Jam!
The website should have some new pictures loaded in the next few weeks and maybe even a change of backround.....watch this space! |
| |
The username and password changes should now be up and running. If yours doesn't work, or you haven't been given a new one then please let me know. Remember that they should not contain any spaces!
The new 8 level system is slowly taking effect so don't be suprised if songs change levels or you suddenly have moved up a level.
UPDATE:
I was hoping to have all changes completed by the end of November, however I think the end of December is a more realistic deadline.
I'll keep you posted..............Keep Practising! |
| |

WORLD CUP - mini MIX
The World Cup mini Mix is proving to be very popular. See The God Slot for more information.
The issuing of new passwords is taking a little longer than expected. But don't worry, the old ones will still work until the new ones are all in place.
Remember to practice. The England Football Team didn't get to where they are today by not practising!!! |
| |
NEW SEARCH ENGINE & PASSWORDS
As you may have noticed, there are lots of little changes being made to the website. These are being done not only to improve the appearance, but to keep the information current & easy to use. There is now a new search engine in the Pupils' Material page that should help you to find what you're looking for.
Over the next few weeks each pupil will be issued with their own username & password. If you have any problems then revert back to your old password until you see me next & I can fix it. |
| |
BACK TO SCHOOL - Well at least you've got your guitar lesson to look forward to!
My new band had it's first gig on Easter Saturday and it was a real success. Everybody said that they had a great time and that we sounded really good. The bands called "STRAIGHT SIX" and over the next few weeks there will be a new page on the website. In the mean time if you need a band for that special occasion then just "Contact Me" |
| |
Some of you will already know that I have now started to learn how to play the drums. It's something I've always wanted to do but never seemed to get round to. Anyway, I have now purchased a Mapex kit which I'm sure my neighbours are delighted about! Progress is good with regular practice every day. I'll keep you posted.

Website is go!!! It's finally gone live after many long hours of hard work writing, loading, unloading & rewriting songs, tabs & many other things. None of which could have been done without the enormous help & support from my good friend Neil. I must also say a big thankyou to Rachel (Neil's better half) who has put up with me ringing him & spending ages on the phone all hours of the day & night. Thanks Guys.
Please enjoy the website & feel free to add any comments or feedback on the "Contact Me" page. |

| New Red Van. Just call me Postman Pat. I've finally decided that with petrol prices being so high, I can no longer warrant smoking around in my somewhat thirsty V8 any longer. It's got to go! The replacement being an oil burning Ford Escort van. That's a diesel to all you non-petrol heads out there. I'm planning to sign write the van with my logo, so give me a wave if you see me on your travels. |
