Home Teaching

My home teaching practice continues to be very busy & unfortunately I currently have no spaces. Please feel free however to add your name to my waiting list (see below) & I will contact you as soon as a space becomes available.

Lessons are on a weekly basis during school term time & last for 30 minutes. The cost is £10 per lesson which is payable either weekly or half termly in advance. If a lesson is not cancelled before 9am on the day then it will be charged for.

The lessons are normally on a one to one basis but I will take groups of two. Larger groups are not possible due to space restrictions & insurance implications. The cost for a group lesson is the same & can be shared between the two students as per the conditions set out above.

Parents / Guardians are welcome to sit in on lessons provided your child / children don't mind! However I wouldn't recommend this on a weekly basis as I find it can sometimes hinder progress.

I am sorry but I am currently unable to travel to your home to give lessons due to time constraints.

Two things for pupils to remember:

1. The key to success is practice & this needs to be done on a regular basis (5 minutes per day if possible). Panic / emergency practice before a lesson really doesn't help!
2. Enjoy what you are learning & playing. I know that sometimes it may seem a bit too hard, but if it was that easy then anybody would be able to do it. You're not just anybody.
